Macron urged Johnson to clarify Britain's position on Brexit

Macron emphasized that a delay in this case would not benefit anyone.

Earlier, the EU called on the British government to inform the alliance about further steps in Brexit.

On October 19, British parliamentarians voted in favor of an amendment that obliges Johnson to request a new deferral of Brexit.

At the same time, Johnson himself confirmed his intention to get Britain out of the EU on October 31.
