- These are high flows, and high water levels are expected to continue into next week, says SVT meteorologist Jannicke Geitskaret.

The reason is the recent rain. And more water is on the way.

- There will be showers today, and then a more continuous rain will come in during the night to Sunday.

SMHI has issued a warning for high flows in Uvån, and according to Fortum, there is a lot of water in many of the warmland waterways.

- There are high flows in the Norsälven as well, and in Ljusnan and several lakes, says Claes Kjörk, water regulation manager at Fortum.

The Klarälven and Fryken rise

The flow in the Klar River also increases.

- It is really flowing in the river again now. There is a lot of water flowing from Höljes and down, but we still have margins in the dam.

In Fryken too, the water has risen.

- It's almost full, but at the moment we don't expect there to be any problems, says Claes Kjörk.

More water in Arvika

Some who are really refined when it comes to high water are the Arvik residents. The dam that will protect the city from the water in Kyrkviken is still not inaugurated and ready.

Now the water in the Glafsfjorden is rising fast too, but Claes Kjörk has a soothing message.

- We are releasing more and more water, but there is no risk for Arvika at this time. The Glafsfjord may rise very much in the near future, but it is still far to the quayside in Arvika.
