FSVTS evaluated the timing of the implementation of the contract for the supply of Indonesia Su-35

“Su-35 is not a closed topic, we will talk about development. We hope for the execution of this contract in the foreseeable future - I hope that a decision will be made on the implementation of this contract, ”said Shugaev in response to the relevant question.

In June, the head of the Ministry of Defense of Indonesia, Riamizard Riachudu, said that the supply of Su-35 could begin before the end of 2019.

In November 2018, Indonesian Air Force spokesman Novyan Samyega warned of the threat of a disruption to the Su-35 deal due to U.S. sanctions.

Later, Indonesia’s ambassador to Moscow, Mohamed Wahid Supriadi, confirmed that the Su-35 contract remains in force and the project will take place.
