"At the moment we have information on 13 dead," states the Russian Ministry of Disaster.

About 80 people must have lived in the camp at the gold mine. Nearly 300 people are participating in the ongoing rescue operation, according to the Ministry of Disaster. An investigation into breaches of the security rules must also have been initiated.
