The museum's work in Norrköping organizes about six photo exhibitions each year. One of them is the Documentary Photo Salon which opens on the Doc Photo Day. This year's theme is: "Another way to see."

- At the Museum of Work, we collect people's stories from everyday life and working life. And documentary photography is just that, picture stories, says Sara Grevlund, an indigent at the Museum of Work.

56 photographers from all over Sweden

This year's photo salon presents works from 56 photographers from all over Sweden. Ten of them come from Östergötland, and one of them is Evy Rydergård. She is a retired building antique and has partly photographed a lot in her profession, but has also published photo books about Norrköping.

- It was great fun to be part of this show, she says.

In addition to this, students from the Nordic photo school Biskops Arnö also showcase their project "Near the Nordic Region", during the weekend.

- We want to be an arena where both established photographers and newcomers meet and Dokfotodagen is part of that work, says Sara Grevlund.

During the day, this year's documentary photo prize was also awarded. This year Kristoffer Granath went. Lina Scheynius and Ragnar Axelsson. They receive SEK 25,000 each.
