Demonstrations affect public transport in Gothenburg

There are three major demonstrations in central Gothenburg, which affects tram lines 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 10 and 11 in addition bus 18 and 52.

- All tram traffic is stopped in central Gothenburg. All lines still go but they go other ways, says interference coordinator Sabine von Borgstede at Västtrafik.

At present, Västtrafik believes that the disturbances will continue even at least at. 16:00, but the end time is not quite clear as the demonstrations have been delayed.

According to the police, the demonstrations are Kurds against war, Walk for freedom and one with animal rights activists.
