The Paris Bourse finished down Friday (-0.65%), sealed by several warnings on results and a tension going crescendo before the vote of the British Parliament on the new agreement of Brexit negotiated between London and Brussels.

The CAC 40 yielded 36.82 points to 5.636.25 points, in a trade volume fed 4.39 billion euros.

Over the past week, the index lost 0.52%. However, it is up 19.14% since January 1st.

"The market is aware of the poor results, the real economic slowdown in China and the fact that we are under pressure from the trade war also between the United States and Europe", summarizes Frédéric Rozier, portfolio manager at Mirabaud France, questioned by AFP.

"The vote planned tomorrow on the Brexit agreement generates additional tension and the Parisian market did not need that given the extremely delicate publications," he says.

"The decline is mainly due to the warnings of three companies CAC 40", namely Renault, Thales and Danone, he said. On the other hand, "the bond market and the foreign exchange market are in a form of optimism".

Returning to London after finding an agreement on the Brexit with the 27, Prime Minister Boris Johnson tackled the difficult task of convincing the members of the British Parliament to adopt, for a vote on Saturday.

French President Emmanuel Macron said Friday against a possible postponement of Brexit.

On the macroeconomic front, growth in the Chinese economy slowed sharply in the third quarter, falling to 6% year-on-year, the lowest in 27 years.

On the trade front, the United States has, as planned, begun to apply Friday punitive tariffs on $ 7.5 billion of European products.

French Finance Minister Bruno Le Maire on Friday denounced the "aggressive gesture" of "American allies", calling the sanctions against French wines "deeply unjust".

Renault was down 11.48% to 48.56 euros, weighted by the downward revision of the financial objectives of the car manufacturer, whose turnover in the third quarter also fell.

The entire automotive sector suffered: Peugeot lost 1.66% to 23.66 euros and Michelin 1.96% to 102.45 euros.

Danone fell by 8.42% to 71.96 euros, penalized by the lowering of its revenue growth target for 2019, despite a turnover up 3.7%.

Thales was also affected (-5.44% to 89.98 euros) by lowering its revenue growth forecast for 2019, mainly due to delays in order intake expected.

Fnac Darty plunged 14.02% to 50.90 euros, suffering a decline in gross margin, despite the increase in sales announced by the group of electronic products, appliances and cultural.

Pernod Ricard benefited (+ 0.85% to 161 euros) from an increase in BBB + of its rating related to long-term debt by the rating agency S & P Global Ratings.
