The radiology unit at Värnamo Hospital has been rebuilt. Two new magnetic cameras have been installed, one of them being the new generation magnetic camera which increases the quality of this type of research.

It means that you can now perform all types of MRI examinations in the county. The new generation magnetic camera is needed to be able to perform sufficiently good examinations in, for example, prostate and breast. Previously, these patients needed to go to Stockholm for this type of examination.

The regional board chairman Mia Frisk (KD) and Rachel de Basso (S), chairman of the board of public health and health care, cut the band at today's inauguration.

The new magnetic cameras mean that the capacity at the radiology clinic in Värnamo is doubled.
