He recalled that it was on these channels that most of the airtime was allocated to discuss the situation in the south-east of the country.
“At first there was history and games around Steinmeier’s formula, then there were games on the issue of withdrawing Ukrainian troops from the contact line ... which finally formed the point of view that Mr. Zelensky and his team did not want peace, did not have the political will to establish peace, and that’s it for various subjective reasons, ”the politician explained his position.
In his opinion, this indicates that a commission to investigate the actions of these television channels was created on the initiative of Zelensky and the party "Servant of the people."
“They are doing everything to shut their mouths to independent television broadcasters, namely: 112 Ukraine, NewsOne and ZIK,” Medvedchuk emphasized.
Earlier, the Verkhovna Rada created a commission of inquiry to investigate the actions of the TV channels 112 Ukraine, NEWSONE and ZIK and to ensure counteraction to the "informational impact" of Moscow.
In September, the National Broadcasting Council of Ukraine decided to go to court to revoke the NEWSONE license.
