The motion to reduce the environmental impact of aviation by introducing a reduction obligation for aviation fuel was submitted to Parliament a few weeks ago.

Carbon dioxide emissions can be reduced by 50 percent

- You can reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 50 percent and create a lot of new jobs in Sweden and reduce oil dependency from other countries. There are really only winners with this proposal, says Hans Hoff.

The requirement for the percentage of biofuel to be made must initially be relatively low, and then be sharpened.

- We have enough residual products in the Swedish forest to be able to produce fuel that covers the entire Swedish need.

Püss negative to the proposal

Lars Püss (M) also wants to see more biofuel, but does not think that reducing duty is the right way to go.

Next week, Hoff and Puss will organize a breakfast meeting in the Riksdag where the matter will be discussed.
