The CSA reminded the order RMC and the RMC Découverte channel for comments made in April by Jean-Jacques Bourdin, who had described Republican party spokesman Lydia Guirous as "fool" in his morning show.

"Lydia Guirous, it's a fool", launched the host, commenting on a tweet from the spokesman of the Republicans about the fire of Notre-Dame de Paris, in which she felt that "the firefighters fight bravely by terribly lacking suitable means, including air.

"You have to be completely stupid to say a tweet by explaining that we had to look for Canadairs to pour water on the cathedral, at the risk of collapse elsewhere," said the reporter.

Lydia Guirous had immediately announced having seized the CSA "following the insults and lies" of Jean-Jacques Bourdin.

In particular, she criticized the host for totally distorting his comments, assuring that he never mentioned the use of Canadairs in his tweet. She said that the "air assets" she was talking about were lift arms, which the Parisian firefighters lacked (and that other brigades had provided them to help extinguish the fire).

She also felt that "the violence of the words" of the animator "undoubtedly raises the greatest misogyny".

In a decision taken in September, which has just been posted on its website, the CFS has indicated that, following a review of the sequence, it asked the broadcaster of the program "to ensure, in the future, that what the remarks made by the animators of its antennas are respectful of the rights of the person ".
