17 May 2018Terrests, current accounts, company shares, vehicles, bonds. A Massimo Carminati and Salvatore Buzzi, both convicted in the trial resulting from the Mafia Capital investigation and key figures of the so-called "Middle World", have been confiscated for tens of millions of euros.

This is what was decided by the Special Tribunal for the preventive measures of Rome which issued the provision against the former Nar Massimo Carminati, his right-hand Riccardo Brugia, the "ras" of the Salvatore Buzzi cooperatives and other subjects involved in the affair.

At the base of the provision, notified to the Gico of the Guardia di Finanza for its execution, the social dangerousness of the subjects, still considered current.

The court also ordered a special surveillance measure, with an obligation to stay in Rome for 3 years and presented to the judicial police one day a week for the entrepreneurs Lacopo, Guarnera, De Carlo, Gaglianone, Ietto and Gaudenzi, to be applied once expiated the definitive penalty.

The same measure will then be evaluated against Carminati, Buzzi and Brugia, sentenced in the first instance to 20 years, 19 years and 11 years of imprisonment respectively.
