At 15 o'clock on Monday afternoon, the abuse was reported to have taken place, at a bus stop near the Tiunda school, but outside the school grounds. Two masked persons must have attacked a student who goes to school there.

- It is a young person, under the age of 15, who has been attacked. We suspect that these are two perpetrators who are a few years older than the attacker, says Jonas Eronen, press informant at Uppsala police.

How did the abuse go?

- Since the landowner is so young, we are restrictive with details, says Jonas Eronen.

Interrupted by passersby

The affected student was assisted by the police to make a report. It is unclear if he even needed to visit hospitals. According to a statement from the headmaster of the school, which SVT took part in, the abuse was stopped by passersby. According to the same mailing, the student must have been beaten and the incident is reportedly also filmed.

Have you watched any movie?

- We are at the beginning stage of an investigation. I can't go into it, says Jonas Eronen.

The Principal of the Tenth School, Monika Wahlstedt, on the event:

- It is terrible when children are exposed to crime.

Do you take any action?

- We have been in contact with police who say that there is no particular threat to the school or any specific students. We follow the crisis plan that exists, says Monika Wahlstedt.

"A giant attack"

The police's youth unit is investigating the case and is keen on tips and observations.

- It is a huge attack where a young landowner is attacked by two elderly people. It takes place on an open street where the person will no doubt really feel safe and secure, says Jonas Eronen.
