They had disappeared in Uganda where they were to play a tournament with their football team. Four players from Eritrea's national team are now seeking asylum in another country.

They would like to seek asylum in a third country, because unfortunately we are afraid that they will be repatriated from Uganda to Eritrea. It is not for them to choose this third country, even if they have family in European countries. In fact, they just want to be safe.
