During this year's moose hunt, about 2050 moose may be felled in Östergötland, which is 200 fewer than last year. However, only 1,818 moose were felled last year, which means the allocation was higher than the shooting.
For unregistered areas, the moose hunt continues until October 16. The moose hunt is ongoing until 29 February for moose and license areas. Each felled moose must be reported to the County Administrative Board.
