Kaczynski party gains more than 45% in elections to the Polish Sejm


The ruling Law and Justice (PiS) party, Jaroslav Kaczynski, leads the parliamentary elections in Poland after processing 82.79% of the protocols.

According to PAP, PiS is gaining 45.16%.

The Civil Coalition (KO) receives 26.1%.

The Union of Democratic Left (SLD) - 12.1%.

The Polish Peasant Party (PSL) is gaining 8.81%.

The Confederation receives 6.71%.

During the October 13 vote, 460 deputies of the lower house of parliament (the Sejm) and 100 members of the upper house (senate) were elected.
