October 14, 201912.22 An agreement was reached between the Ecuadorian government and the indigenous movement to get out of the social crisis that has paralyzed the country for 12 days. The agreement provides for the withdrawal of the decree that eliminates subsidies on fuel and the preparation of a "new decree". With this agreement "the mobilizations throughout Ecuador are over and together we are committed to restoring peace in the country" declared President Moreno and the leaders of the indigenous protest, in the joint final statement.
