Chizhov: Russia warned the Kurds that the United States would abandon them

He said this in an interview with TASS.

“We need to solve the problem through dialogue. It’s another matter that the EU does not include the government in Damascus as partners in these negotiations, and we, of course, classify them ... By the way, we warned the Kurds that their Americans would throw them, ”he said.

Along with this, Chizhov added that Russia is ready to mediate between Ankara and the Kurds, as well as between the Kurds and Damascus.

Earlier it was reported that the Kurdish administration agreed with Damascus on the deployment of Syrian troops on the border with Turkey.

On October 14, the head of the international committee of the Federation Council, Konstantin Kosachev, announced that Russia was in favor of intensifying the dialogue between the Syrian government and the Kurds, and between Ankara and Damascus.
