It all started with the man preventing home care staff from visiting a woman. The police were contacted and shortly after seven o'clock in the evening an attempt was made to harm the man with the help of pepper spray.

The man, who was armed with a knife, was sprayed twice more by the police, but that only made him more aggressive.

The police were on the scene with several patrols, including staff who are specialists in negotiating. After an hour, the police finally went into the apartment where the man barricaded himself. There, the man was shot with electric shock weapons and could then be arrested.

The man was arrested by prosecutors during the night and is suspected of probable cause for gross assault, violent resistance and unlawful detention.
