The Department explained on its official account "Twitter" that was exempted senior citizens, retirees and families of martyrs and people of determination and those with limited income from the traffic tariffs when applied, according to the specified regulations, and set monthly ceilings for individual vehicle fees, to achieve a balance between solutions to reduce traffic congestion, and its impact Economic.
She pointed out that the monthly ceilings for individual vehicles are 200 dirhams for the first car, 150 dirhams for the second, and 100 dirhams for each additional vehicle, in addition to the daily maximum fee of 16 dirhams, which reduces the cost paid by road users by a significant difference, and maintains the goal of application of the system. .
Abu Dhabi's tariffs are among the lowest in the world, while roads in the UAE are ranked the best in the world, according to the Global Competitiveness Report.
