13 October 2019Cutting of the tax wedge for companies, a measure that in some way must be linked to the minimum wage in budget law. It would be one of the key points faced by Minister Luigi Di Maio with his government colleagues at the M5S summit on the Naples maneuver, which lasted over an hour.

Luigi Di Maio brought together the pentastellate ministers in a hotel a stone's throw from the overseas fair, in Naples, where the second day of Italia 5 Stelle is staged. Goal of the Foreign Minister, to take stock of the budget law that by Tuesday will have to be launched by the CDM.

The prison for the great tax evaders should remain in the fiscal DL at the moment, but if it should be removed from the text, for the 5 stars it is a measure to be implemented in strict times. M5S sources also point out that there should be no "jokes" on taxes on the budget law, as was the case for rechargeable SIM cards.

The times are tightening to complete the maneuver while the summit at Palazzo Chigi to define the final details with the Prime Minister, Giuseppe Conte, has been moved to Monday. In the meantime, on the afternoon of Sunday, meetings are scheduled at the MEF between the Minister of Economy, Roberto Gualtieri, the technicians, the deputy ministers and the undersecretaries.

The budget planning document (the framework of the maneuver in which the grid of the interventions with the effects of expenditure and revenue is indicated) that should have arrived on Monday in the CDM could be postponed to Tuesday, the last day to send the document to the European Commission and the Eurogroup. By October 20, instead, the Budget bill must be sent to the Chambers but the term is not mandatory.
