Two trap games and two wins for Germany in Estonia (3-0) and the Netherlands in Belarus (2-1) allow the Mannschaft and Oranje to catch a glimpse of Euro-2020, where Russia will be and Poland, qualified Sunday.

Great absentees of the Euro-2016 and the last World Cup, the Netherlands took a step towards the qualification with their victory brought back from Minsk where Wijnaldum launched them perfectly by scoring a double in the first period, of the head then a shot in the skylight at 20 meters (32nd and 41st).

Pressured by the van Dijk band's success in the evening, Joachim Löw's men saw the trap coming to Tallinn when Emre Can was ruled out in the first fifteen minutes for a late tackle on his surface.

No consequence for the Mannschaft, delivered by a doubled Gundogan (52nd and 57th) who even signed a decisive pass for the incoming Timo Werner (71).

In the standings, the Germans (2nd, 15pts) close the Dutch (1st, 15 pts) in their group C, only threatened by Northern Ireland (3rd, 12 pts) for the qualification.

Russia, it is already holding after his cardboard 5-0 in Cyprus on Sunday, with a doubled midfielder Denis Cheryshev, and heels Belgium for the first place in Group I (21 pts against 24).

Qualification also in hand for Poland, late winner of North Macedonia with two "assists" of Bayern Munich star Robert Lewandowski (74th and 80th): Poles, first group G (19 pts) will play in June their fourth consecutive Euro.

Croatia, on the other hand, will have to wait, slowed by Gareth Bale, the captain of Wales, in Cardiff (1-1). The Madrilenian clinic has converted one of the rare Welsh opportunities and forced the vice-world champions, first group E (19 pts) to wait until the next international truce.
