Approval of the final list of NBK members

The National Elections Commission (NEC) yesterday approved the names of the winners of the Federal National Council.

She stressed that the success of the elections is the result of the political empowerment program announced by His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, in 2005, which was keen to activate the role of the Federal National Council, and enable it, to be a supporting authority, guidance and support to the executive authority, in order to serve issues Homeland and citizens.

The Appeals Committee had received six appeals from the Electoral Management Committee, and issued decisions thereon. Thus, the decision to reject the appeal has the power of the final verdict.
