US President Donald Trump on Friday evening from Lake Charles, Louisiana, continued an offensive campaign to mobilize his supporters in the run-up to the 2020 presidential election, amid mounting pressure for possible removal.

Trump strongly attacked Democratic House Speaker Nancy Pelosi.

The president described Pelosi's anger as "hell" and said his conversation with the Ukrainian president had angered her so much, and she was the cause of the Democrats' accountability.

Trump insisted that his call was "exemplary," as he repeatedly referred to the speaker of the House during his speech, describing it as "nervous Pelosi."

"I thought she loved this country but Nancy Pelosi hates the United States," he said to applause from his supporters.

Trump ridiculed the amount that shed light on the Ukraine issue, saying that the measures that could be initiated to remove him from office are just "empty talk."

"What is happening now is a shame," he said, portraying himself as a victim of a conspiracy instigated by an alliance between "corrupt democrats" and "false media."

As part of his Democratic rivals, Trump is convinced he will win the presidential election on November 3, 2020.

"They say Bernie Sanders missed his chance," Trump said in what appeared to be a reference to the recent heart attack suffered by the Vermont senator. "Whoever it is, let the race begin," he said.
