Haiti sinks into crisis: opposition groups rejected the proposal for dialogue that the president made on Wednesday, October 9. They still claim the immediate resignation of Jovenel Moses. This Friday, the main cities of the country recorded new broad demonstrations. It has been more than a month since the protest movement was launched and the protesters do not lose hope.

The crowd from the capital's popular neighborhoods responded to the call of the main opposition leaders. The goal of the procession was clear: to go to his home to seek the resignation of the president. At age 30, Jeffrey Joseph is determined.

" The people have taken the revolution in their power to put an end to this corrupt system, this system that sucks us to the core. The goal is simple: Jovenel represents this bourgeois minority. He must fall so that this system is abolished. "

Although the crowd was dispersed by police with tear gas and live bullets, activist Alfred Dieu-Fait assures that he is far from being discouraged.

" It's been a month since we fight , but we have the impression that it's only been one day that we fight. We can never lose the battle: the voice of the people is the voice of Christ. See, they shot a journalist. The blood of this killed journalist is the serum that makes us fight. "

The journalist Nehemiah Joseph who worked for Panic FM and Radio Mega in the city of Mirebalais was shot dead Thursday night. He was very critical of the government and the local authorities and reported that he was the target of threats.
