HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces at the Presidential Airport in Abu Dhabi, UAE astronauts Hazza Al Mansouri and Sultan Al Neyadi, who returned home from the Russian capital Moscow, accompanied by a team from the Mohammed bin Rashid Space Center, after completing his historic mission to reach the space station As the first Arab astronaut to reach the International Space Station.

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan was keen to shake hands with Al Mansouri and Al Neyadi in front of the staircase that brought them back to the national territory, while Al Mansouri presented His Highness the UAE flag as the most precious souvenir of the homeland, especially as he raised it in space during his trip to the International Space Station. It has a head start among the flags of the Arab world in reaching that space station.

The ceremony was attended by Emirati astronauts, a large number of Sheikhs, ministers and officials, along with popular delegations and hundreds of students of schools and universities, who received Al Mansouri with a stream of applause, cheers, songs and popular dances, while the Emirati astronaut was keen to shake hands with everyone and take memorial photos with them.
