At least 13 people have been injured, three of them in critical condition , after collapsing this Saturday part of a hotel under construction in the US city of New Orleans , medical sources have confirmed to CBS News and the local ambulance company Acadian, in Your Twitter account
According to local media there is a deceased person, 18 injured and three missing.
The collapse occurred early in the morning when the upper floors of the hotel and casino, 18 stories high, collapsed on the rest of the building, causing the facade to collapse and much of the interior structure over the center of the city, between the streets of Canal and North Rampart.
The group of construction employees who were in the vicinity of the collapse have warned that they are still looking for companions who were inside the building at the time of the collapse, according to the Nola-Times Picayune.
The Police have cordoned off the area while the Emergency and Rescue services have begun locating possible missing persons.
