“On the afternoon of October 11 of this year, a 12-year-old boy was hospitalized with a preliminary diagnosis of pneumonia from the Artek Federal State Budgetary Healthcare Institution MDC“ Artek ”... A few hours later, despite medical measures, the child died,” Postnova said .
It is noted that in the framework of the criminal case, medical documents were seized, all necessary examinations were appointed, and persons from the leadership and staff of the camp were questioned.
The government of St. Petersburg has created a commission to establish the circumstances and causes of death of the student. It is clarified that the situation is under the personal control of the Minister of Education Olga Vasilyeva. In addition, Roszdravnadzor will check the quality of medical care in the Crimean hospital after the death of the child.
