In France, it is this weekend that the right chooses a new president. The members are called to vote from this Saturday 20h until Sunday evening to decide between three candidates.

Three candidates are in contention: the patron of deputies LR Christian Jacob, who is a favorite, the sovereignist of Vaucluse Julien Aubert and the most liberal Guillaume Larrivé, deputy Yonne. A poll of all the dangers for a party very badly in point.

" If Christian Jacob is not elected, it's simply the end of the party. ". Like Damien Abad, there are many right to fear the election of this weekend. Supported by most of the cadors, the patron of the deputies LR serves, for many, savior.

" We need him, because he does not want to make the party his stable for 2022, " said MP Pierre-Henri Dumont traumatized by the war chiefs.

As the deadline approaches, the excitement is palpable in the Jacob camp. And if the favorite was not elected in the first round?

Another issue of the vote: the mobilization. With some 130,000 members in contribution day, the party's staff have already melted, they have been divided by two since the presidential election. Yet, if no one officially dares to risk a prognosis, many fear that less than 50,000 people make the effort to vote, for lack of heavyweights in the running.

" We do not even envy our own activists, " worries a presidential, who also fears fraud. What revive the trauma left by the contested election of Jean-Francois Copé against François Fillon in 2012.
