"
The judicial resolution explains that, while this was happening, the car in which the couple was traveling was driving along the left lane of the highway, passing several vehicles despite the fact that the accused and driver did not pay any attention to driving while carrying out activities with his partner incompatible with taking the wheel, "what made his driving zigzagging."
He even invaded the opposite lane, forcing another driver to give up an overtaking maneuver to avoid the collision.
The judge has accepted the request of the prosecutor and the defendant's lawyer and has agreed to suspend the prison sentence for two years, on condition that they do not commit a crime again during that period.
The ruling prohibits both defendants from driving motor vehicles and mopeds for two years and one day.
