The Spanish Association of Civil Guards (AEGC) has denounced a case of "harassment" of their children at the school in the Navarra town of Bera , where several graffiti appeared on the occasion of the celebration this Saturday of October 12.
"Once again it is the minors who have to endure the intransigence and hatred of those who believe in possession of the truth and owners of a land that is not theirs, because it belongs to all who inhabit it," says the association in a statement.
In the Basque painted on the outer wall of the school, says the AEGC, you can read: "On October 12 there is nothing to celebrate. Get out of here. All of you out of here."
The association understands that the graffiti refers to the celebration of the feast of the patron saint of the armed institute, the Virgen del Pilar , "because their acts are repetitive, they know that they have never had consequences and that they have always gone unpunished."
"They don't do it randomly, they know where they can do more damage, that's why they choose our children's school," says the association, which is confident that, "at least the Ombudsman does study the cases of harassment to those who the children of civil guards are facing each other in many towns in Navarra, Euskadi and Catalonia . "
