Bastrykin instructed to institute proceedings after beating the girl in Izhevsk


The head of the Investigative Committee of Russia Alexander Bastrykin instructed to institute criminal proceedings in connection with the beating of the girl by five peers in Izhevsk.

"Alexander Bastrykin was instructed ... to immediately initiate criminal proceedings on the fact of beating the girl, having established all the circumstances and accomplices of the crime," the statement said.

It is noted that at the same time he ordered to give a legal assessment of the actions or inaction of officials of the prevention authorities, whose duties included monitoring the behavior of children already in their field of vision.

According to the investigation, a group of 5-6 teenagers aged 15 to 17 years attacked a 16-year-old girl in a forest plantation and inflicted several blows with her hands and feet. Everything that happened was recorded on video, which was then posted on social networks.

According to the available information, the “insignificant detail” served as the reason for the quarrel and the subsequent beating.

Earlier, the newspaper Vzglyad wrote that investigators were checking information about the beating of a teenage girl by their peers in Izhevsk.
