The car company Liljas in Borgholm is closing down

- It is a declining car market and that, together with the demands placed on us, means that we cannot continue the business, says Oscar Cullberg, CEO of Liljas Personbilar AB.

Liljas has been in Borgholm since 1928 and recently had plans to invest in the newly built Triangel area in Borgholm. But now the company is closing down and has started talks with the 15 employees affected.

- It feels really boring, we think it's sad for the employees who are affected and for Liljas as a company. There is absolutely no easy or fun decision to make, he says.
