The France Espoirs team kicked off its Euro-2021 qualifying campaign with a 5-0 win over Azerbaijan on Thursday night at the Stade de l? Epopée in Calais.

The 1998 generation easily disposed of Azeris thanks to a doubled Odsonne Edouard.

The native of Kourou put the blueberries into orbit in the second minute, then the Celtic striker trained at PSG scored again in the 36th. His third double after those made in the last two friendlies against the Czech Republic (3-1) and Albania (4-0).

In front of the public in Calais, Dan Axel Zagadou took over from Edouard and scored in turn in the 40th of a superb header served on a corner.
