Have heard that e.g. chess that spread a lot you have to destroy everything above ground. Then the roots cannot grow. It should be the same with Parkslide.

Parkslide is a problem for biodiversity, but it seems that you are spreading an exaggerated picture of its impact on development, which a study from the University of Leeds has found. "We found nothing to suggest that Japanese knotweed causes significant damage to buildings."

So use Round-up. No plant survives Round-up.

Managed to get rid of the park slide by drilling a hole in the trunk and injecting hydrochloric acid with a small syringe. Has not appeared after 4 years.

We have vegetation very close to the house we built five years ago. A neighbor to us has what the heck for it is "beautiful". Have tried various things like gasoline, chlorine, own mix in cut pipe.
Mow it with hedge trimmer 2-3 times per season. We have managed to keep a page in check with canvas and the porch on. How the root grows I have no idea. Heard that roundup / glyphosate is the only thing that can help. You cut the tubes on each, fill up with syringe in each tube. However, this requires patience and follow-up. The park slider can also rest the root system for up to 2 years. Then it will come again. I want to buy glucose for this purpose but do not get because of special regulations ??

Cut, insert into a funnel, fill with diesel or gasoline and the crap dies. 😁

Have read a lot about this plant, which has become mostly about people who failed and had to fight for years. Common seems to be trying to dig it out, possibly in combination with other combats, but I think (!) (/ Hope) the key lies in avoiding digging and rather fighting with glyphosphate. There are a couple of different schools; cut the stem and try to inject it or spray the green plant parts such as leaves and branches. Found a good movie on youtube from the USA with many sensible posts among the comments - from people who have worked with this for years. From there, I conclude that glyphosphate is a necessary pain in this case. Might if some bee does not find home but if that is the only way to get rid of this plague then what to do ?!

Tells you how to do when removing park slide.
Can you ask the municipality?

Parkslide I had on a hill on the edge of the plot where it appeared spontaneously a few years ago. Thought it was beautiful and it grew and covered after a while about 10m2.
Began last summer to fight it with the right concentrated glyphosate. This summer, they have few shots that have appeared brushed with almost concentrated glyphosate, so now we see if there is anything left for next year.
Probably think it is almost the only way to get rid of it without a tremendous amount of effort. Then you get to like what you want, but I'm happy. Maybe difficult to get hold of iofs.
Now lupines are on the agenda but there will be mechanical extinction.

Have found park slide on the municipality's land outside a residential area and inside a multi-residential area. The municipality did not care. They didn't even want to know exactly where it was. It is maybe 50 meters from me so I am not hurt by it right now, but it is strange that the municipality does not want to deal with it.
