• Polls: This is how voting polls are going for 10-N
  • Blocks: the withdrawal of Vox in the Senate would not give the majority to the center right

Santiago Abascal broke into Congress with 24 deputies after the April 28 general elections. Six months later, there is barely half ( 52.6% ) of the 350 candidate team that was set up for the previous election date.

This renewal rate is the highest among the main parties, 20 points above the average. Only among the list heads of each of the 52 constituencies Vox has replaced 12 candidates, about one in four, as EL MUNDO already advanced.

The Official State Gazette published yesterday the provisional list of candidates for the elections to the Congress of Deputies and the Senate. From the comparison between these names and those presented for the 28-A elections, it is extracted that, in addition to the controversial departure of those who were deputy for the Balearic Islands, Malena I replied, Vox has changed to their numbers one in Ceuta, Melilla, Soria, Segovia , Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Las Palmas, Álava, Lugo, León, Guadalajara and Gerona .

The relays have also reached Ciudadanos, which brings together 38.3% of new faces. In the main starting point, however, the renovation is 13.7% . One of these changes is due to the departure of the writer Marta Rivera de la Cruz , who left her seat for La Coruña to be Minister of Culture in the Community of Madrid, with the government of PP and Citizens led by Isabel Díaz Ayuso.

The formation of Albert Rivera also presents new head of the list in Cuenca, Guipúzcoa, Soria, Ceuta and Melilla , all of them constituencies in which the orange party won no seats after 28-A.

The PP, also in the center-right block, is the third formation that has carried out the most changes: 30.5% of candidates did not appear on the lists for the previous general elections. In addition, the variations between the numbers one are the same as in Vox: twelve. Among other changes, Diego José Gago replaces the former president of Contreo, Ana Pastor , who lands on the Madrid list as number two, behind Pablo Casado .

On the other hand, the deputy and president of the Victims of Terrorism Foundation, María del Mar Blanco , has gone from being the ninth option in Madrid, to the first in Álava, the position left by Javier Maroto, who was left without a seat on 28 -A and ended up rescued as a senator appointed by the Courts of Castilla y León.

The popular have taken eight new candidates to the top spot with respect to the previous elections, for the provinces of Almería, Cuenca, Girona, Huelva, Jaén, Pontevedra, Segovia and Valladolid .

For their part, the Socialists have practically made no changes. Only 5% of the candidates of the new lists are released with respect to 28-A and only four of the 52 list heads have undergone changes. It is about the territories of Alava, Cantabria, Ciudad Real and Zamora .

We can renew one in four candidates and 19% among their numbers one.

Two candidates of the CUP , which is presented for the first time at the national level, were six months ago on the list of Front Republicà, the party created by Albano Dante Fachín , who resigned from his positions in Podemos after facing the dome of the formation. Likewise, three candidates from Más País, the formation of former purple leader Íñigo Errejón, attended in April under the acronym for United We can.

Regarding the result of the balanced gender composition required by law, if the 28-A Popular Party was the formation that placed more women as head of the list, it is now United We can lead the parity podium with 46% of Candidates in the main position. Below is More Country, where the female representation excels in second place (it touches 78%).
