“Three police officers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia“ Saratov ”in the Saratov Region were detained. On the basis of the evidence gathered in the case, they are charged with a crime under subsection “a”, part 3 of article 286 of the Criminal Code of Russia, ”the regional department said in a statement.
According to investigators, on September 24, three police officers, being in the premises of the police department, in the absence of legal grounds, used violence against a man suspected of embezzlement.
It is specified that the issue of choosing a preventive measure is currently being decided.
Earlier it became known that two police officers in the Saratov region are suspected of causing fatal beatings.
