Even without their managers and without Lionel Messi, suspended, Germany and Argentina played a pleasant duel Wednesday, concluded with a 2-2 draw in Dortmund.
Germany dominated the first period, scoring Serge Gnabry (15th) and Kai Havertz (22nd). Lucas Alario (66th) and Lucas Ocampos (85th) replied after the break, when Argentina found his football.
