Even deprived of their frames and without Lionel Messi, suspended, Germany and Argentina played a pleasant duel Wednesday in Dortmund, concluded by a 2-2 draw pulled by Argentina late in the game.

The Mannschaft dominated the first period, scoring Serge Gnabry (15th) and Kai Havertz (22nd). The Albiceleste found his football after the break and snatched the draw by Lucas Alario (66) and Lucas Ocampos (85).

For this poster that was three times that of the World Cup final, both teams were decimated by injury or illness.

Joachim Löw, the German coach, had to do without a dozen of his usual executives, including attackers Leroy Sané and Timo Werner or midfielder Toni Kroos.

His counterpart Lionel Scaloni, also deprived of several executives, had positivé: "For some it is an important match which will allow us to see if they can play at this level." It is not every day that one plays Germany on his land ".

Löw's young guard, timidly entering the match, quickly jostled an uninvited and slow Argentine defender. Lukas Klostermann in the right lane, and his friend Serge Gnabry, have regularly taken speed or put out of position the defenders of Albiceleste, often reduced to make mistakes (yellow cards for Otamendi and Paul).

The tone suddenly rose in the 14th minute, when Julian Brandt forced Augustin Marchesin to a spectacular first parade. In the next minute, Angel Correa lost a ball in midfield, Klostermann overflowed right and served Gnabry, who managed to push the ball deep in the middle of four Argentines! (1-0, 15e).

Seven minutes later, the same Gnabry center from the right almost unopposed and served the great hope Havertz, who left his bodyguard to go to score the second goal (2-0, 22nd).

Back in the locker room, the Argentineans closed the ranks behind, but had a hard time being dangerous in attack. With two goals in front, Germany seemed to control the match, but it was Argentina that found the opening.

Marcos Acuna focused in-depth for Lucas Alario, who came on the hour mark, who misled Ter Stegen with a powerful header (2-1, 66th).

The end game was much more balanced, and Argentina finished at one hundred per hour, especially under the impetus of a very incisive Alario, who knew the stadium to evolve in Bundesliga, Leverkusen.

Löw, in the last 20 minutes, took some risks in his replacements, and Germany ended the match with four beginners on the pitch.

The Argentines, they had not come to lose, and it is the former Marseilles striker today Sevillian Lucas Ocampos, served by the untenable Alario, who snatched the equalizer in the 85th minute (2- 2) and scored his first goal in selection.
