The work of the First Committee of the UN General Assembly was suspended until October 10

According to TASS, Llorenti Solis, who is also the Permanent Representative of Bolivia to the United Nations, proposed starting a “general discussion” in the First Committee “on Thursday, October 10, at exactly 10 a.m. (17:00 Moscow time)”.

This proposal was accepted without a vote.

The chairman of the committee added that he had discussed this issue in consultation with representatives of several delegations.

Earlier, the Russian side proposed to transfer the work of the UNGA First Committee from the United States since 2020.
