The Israeli occupation forces arrested an 80-year-old leader of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) early Tuesday.

His son Ghassan said that large forces of the Israeli army raided at dawn today the house of his elderly father Badran Jaber (78 years) in the city of Hebron and arrested without disclosing the reason for the arrest, likely to be transferred to administrative detention.

He added to Al Jazeera Net that the arrest of his father today came after fifty years completely after his first arrest, and hours before the birth of his granddaughter 12.

Jaber has three daughters and five sons, one of whom is in detention in the Israeli jails.

In 50 years, Jaber was arrested more than twenty times, and the number of years of detention exceeded 21 years. All his children were arrested several times.

According to the Palestinian Prisoners Club, the Israeli occupation forces arrested 13 Palestinians from the West Bank, including two brothers, a father, a son and a woman.
