The second place in Russia in the number of deaths from alcohol consumption is held by the Magadan region. Here, the mortality rate was ten people per 10 thousand inhabitants of the region.

Next are the Ivanovo and Novgorod regions (about nine dead).

Earlier, the Russian Ministry of Health reported that the number of patients with alcoholism decreased from 2.08 million in 2008 to 1.3 million in 2017.
