His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, has affirmed the UAE's commitment to provide all possible assistance to make the transition in Sudan a success and achieve its desired goals, stressing that the UAE has encouraged dialogue between the various Sudanese forces. The last period, out of concern for the stability and unity of Sudan and the integrity of its institutions.

HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Sovereign Council of the Republic of Sudan, received General Abdulfattah Al Burhan and the Head of the Transitional Government Dr. Abdullah Hamdouk.

During the meeting, which was held at the Beach Palace, the two sides discussed bilateral relations, especially economic, investment and trade opportunities and development in various fields, in addition to the political developments on the Sudanese arena.

They also reviewed the latest Arab, regional and international developments, issues and issues of common interest, and exchanged views on them.

During the meeting, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, stressed the UAE's support to the brotherly Republic of Sudan, during the important historical stage it is going through, and its support for all that achieves security, peace and unity on the Sudanese arena, and what meets the aspirations of the Sudanese people in development and prosperity.

His Highness pointed out that the UAE-Sudan relations are close historical relations based on strong bonds of brotherhood, trust and mutual respect, and there is a common keenness to support and strengthen them during the coming period, in the interest of both countries and peoples.

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan said that the UAE has encouraged dialogue between the various Sudanese forces during the past period, out of its keenness on the stability of Sudan, its unity and the safety of its institutions, and its consistent approach to work to preserve the national state. Important and civilized on the Arab arena in the management of the crisis, and achieve consensus that uphold the higher national interests, and maintain the unity and stability of the country and the integrity of its institutions.

His Highness wished General Abdulfattah Al Burhan and Dr. Abdullah Hamdouk success in the national tasks and responsibilities entrusted to them during the coming period, stressing the UAE's permanent commitment to provide all possible assistance to make the transition a success and achieve its goals.

The Sudanese side was attended by Foreign Minister Asmaa Mohammed Abdullah, Minister of Finance Dr. Ibrahim Ahmed Al-Badawi, Minister of Industry and Trade Madani Abbas Madani, and Sudanese Ambassador to the State Mohammed Amin Abdullah Al-Karb.
