It is reported by RIA Novosti with reference to the apparatus of the Commissioner for Human Rights in Russia Tatyana Moskalkova.

“For eight months of 2019, 10 criminal cases have been filed against 10 employees under paragraphs a, b of part 3 of article 286 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation,” the apparatus said.

It is also indicated that in 2018, as a whole, 44 criminal cases were opened on the facts of the illegal use of physical force and special equipment in the Russian penal system.

In September, the UK opened a case of extortion after being beaten up in the Kresty jail.
