The man, who is a resident of Gothenburg, was arrested on Monday and allegedly arrested for probable cause for child rape. Which newspaper Norra Halland was the first to tell.
The events must have occurred between 2006 and 2007 and in total there must be six rape cases against children. Two of the rapes must have taken place in Kungsbacka and it must be the victim himself who reported, says chamber prosecutor Eva Lotta Swahn in an interview to Norra Halland.
"This is a case we have been working on for some time and now the man has been arrested and is being arrested," Chamber Prosecutor Eva Lotta Swahn told the newspaper.
The detention hearing will be held in Varberg District Court.
