Hägglund, together with the Gothenburg Police Ulf Boström, the Civilian Political Person, Edward Nordén and the terrorist Magnus Norell, made the police report, something Expressen was the first to tell.

The notification applies to about 300 people who have since traveled from Sweden to support the terrorist group IS or similar organizations. Hägglund and others report these as private individuals.

- We are doing this as private individuals so that it must not be a party political assessment of this. Of course, this is a political issue, but it must not be a party political, ”says Hägglund.

"Convinced that stories will collapse"

According to Hägglund, the notification is made to convince the prosecutor and the national police chief that there is enough substance to initiate a preliminary investigation against the IS supporters.

- We think it is offensive that Sweden could not do anything to these people who in some cases committed abominable crimes and in other cases helped them. If this is the case, I am convinced that stories from people who have been affected will be able to bind the perpetrators to crime, says Hägglund.

What do you hope this notification will lead to?

- We hope that it will preserve the legal community and belief in the social contract, guard the victims so that they do not have to meet their perpetrators in everyday life, and prevent a new Drottninggatan.
