According to the senator, the beginning of the movement of freight trains on the Crimean bridge may affect the turnover of both mainland Russia and the Crimea.
Earlier, the Ministry of Transport of Russia reported that the movement of freight trains on the Crimean bridge will open in June 2020.
They added that such a decision was connected with the transfer of the site of the Kerch approach in order to preserve a unique monument of archeology - an ancient estate.
