“Once we dreamed of laying the foundation, but today something has worked out and you can already build some kind of house,” cites Lukashenko at a meeting with ex-President of Georgia Georgy Margvelashvili in Minsk BELTA.

According to him, Belarusians and Georgians treat each other with special mutual respect, which is supported by the dynamics of development of cooperation between the two countries.

During the meeting, politicians discussed the development of bilateral relations and the international agenda.

In particular, Margvelashvili praised the quality of Belarusian dairy products coming to Georgia, and noted promising projects in this direction.

In his opinion, for Georgians, the products of Belarus have become a “serious brand”.

In turn, Lukashenko said that the international situation has an impact on the policies of both countries.

“We have enough here. We are like in a hot boiler - they are heating up from all sides, ”he emphasized.

In late August, Lukashenko announced his intention to continue to aggressively develop relations with Tbilisi.
