07 October 2019The UEFA opened a disciplinary proceeding against Lazio for the Europa League match against Rennes on 3 October, won by the biancocelesti 2-1 for racist conduct.The biancoceleste society has been targeted by the maximum continental organization for a possible violation of Article 14 of the UEFA disciplinary regulation. Some fans of Lazio, during the match against the French, performed in Roman greetings.
The EU control, ethics and discipline body will examine the case at the meeting on 17 October.
