Kylian Mbappé and Lucas Hernandez, both forfeited this weekend in club for injury but called in Blue by Didier Deschamps, ran for an hour with the coach of the selection Monday night, four days of the trip to Iceland, qualifying for Euro-2020.

The Paris SG striker and the Bayern Munich defender isolated themselves with Cyril Moine and did some running exercises and stretches, without touching the ball but with no apparent embarrassment, AFP reporters said.

Meanwhile, on the first day of the October rally, only four field players, who had little or no play this weekend, donned crampons - Clément Lenglet, Antoine Griezmann, Olivier Giroud and Thomas Lemar - for a session further and concluded with strikes on goalkeeper Steve Mandanda.

Lyon defender Léo Dubois, injured and forfeited the rally, had already left Clairefontaine after having noted his injury, and the staff was waiting for the arrival of his replacement, Djibril Sidibé, scheduled for the evening.

The Blues will train again Tuesday and Wednesday behind closed doors, before flying to Iceland Thursday, they face Friday night in Reykjavik.
